We love the look & feel when you enter scroogegold.com, who came up with the idea behind Scrooge & Scrooogegold?
Scroogecoin is the brainchild of James Peters, a high respected and successful business man who owned a mortgage company for the last 35 years. In 2021, James could see what was happening with the economy & wanted to jump into the crypto space as he knows that crypto is the future. After doing his due diligence, James saw a big opportunity for a state of the art ‘play to earn’ casino built on the Binance blockchain that would not only reward the players but reward holders with 8% BUSD reflections. A win win for everybody!
James recruited Brady Lewis to build the casino and together their vision is groundbreaking. I cannot wait for people to see what has been created.

Thank you. That’s makes us very proud to be representing such an incredible, loyal group of holders. James has always been very involved in the community and has made our Telegram & Discord group very inviting. He is always accessible and available to answer any questions and has built an incredible team who all have the same vision as what James set out to create. Every single holder will be rewarded once the casino is fully launched. We have no doubt about the explosion that is to come with Scroogecoin.

We know that many of your holders play poker in what we understand is SCROOGE Poker rooms, can you tell me a bit how it works?
Currently, one of our poker rooms is in Beta testing so we are using a third party app. We hold two games a day to accommodate Europe / Asia and then the US. The games are very popular & we are seeing lots of new players each week along with our regular holders. Once our poker rooms are completely live in the Scrooge casino, our holders will be able to compete in tournaments along with sit & go games. And as Scrooge grows so will the payouts. I mean there have been talks and we are confident we will hold the first $1,000,000 tournament!
Will we see some cool SCROOGE NFT soon? If so can you tell us about the utilities behind or is that a secret for now?
NFTs are going to play a huge role in the Scrooge ecosystem. We are currently offering monthly NFTs as a subscription service to get chips for poker tournaments for non Scrooge holders. We are also working on personalised and unique NFTs for loyal Scrooge holders as part of our holder appreciation. These NFTs allow those to compete for higher prizes in competitions , etc… Moreover we are also developing our own customizable NFT PFP series that will allow their holders special perks in the Casino and Arcade which they will be able to upgrade to increase the perks they offer, such as payout multipliers, extra chips per month, extended rebuy periods or beta access to future games within the Scrooge Ecosystem

On your website we can read ‘Scroogecoin tokens will play a large role in the upcoming Scrooge casino’ This sounds amazing. How is the development going on this?
So the way Scrooge works is that holders are issued chips monthly depending on the size of their Scroogecoin holdings. So the more Scrooge you hold then the more monthly chips you are issued. Hence you are gambling with your chips but never your Scrooge Coins. Whatever you win in the casino games is then paid in Scrooge which can be sold or can be held and grow in value as we grow as a company. It really is a win win! If you blow all your chips before the end of the month then you can always purchase more chips directly within the casino or purchase an NFT to redeem more chips.
We know that you have a really cool merch shop and that the team donate all revenue to charities. Have you done any donations yet or is it planned for the future?
Charity is something that the entire team is passionate about and Scrooge is all about giving back. We have been focusing on building the casino but we have accumulated over $1000 in our charity account which will be distributed early next year. Next year will also bring new Scrooge merch and lots more money being generated for worthy charities.
What would you say is the most exciting thing for 2023 as a Scrooge holder?
We are very confident that 2023 is going to be very rewarding and exciting for all Scrooge holders. We are excited to see our community grow as we welcome more holders & watch Scrooge become a household name. And we also have something else very exciting up our sleeve but we can’t reveal all secrets just yet… 2023 is going to be a massive year for ‘Play to Earn’ and Scrooge will be right at the forefront.
